Fontes Sonoras is an artistic exploration and research project focused on active listening and the soundscape of the village of Fontes. As part of a site-specific approach, the Fontes Sonoras project is an offshoot of the Nascentes festival and aims to create sound works that engage in a sensitive and sustainable dialogue with the place, integrating ecological, cultural and community dimensions. Curated by Raquel Castro, researcher and curator specialising in sound art, founder of the Lisboa Soa festival.
